This Concealer…FitMe

I had to share one of my longtime favorite concealers. It’s the FitMe concealer by Maybelline. I’ve probably been using this concealer for at least four years. It became so routine I just forgot to mention it. I was using it more as a highlighting concealer until I picked up another shade while browsing in Target. I use the lighter shade (Sand)  underneath my eyes, down the bridge of my nose, underneath my eyebrows. I picked up the color Cafe for a little color correction and then apply my Black Opal Creme Stick. These two products together makes for a flawless makeup look.

This product is so creamy and has good coverage, especially for less than $5.   It’s definitely worth picking up.

” An Oldie But A Goodie”

Have you ever gone through your makeup collection and stumbled upon what use to be one of your favorite items? That was exactly my experience this past weekend. I was doing some organizing and disposing so that I can repurchase things I’m out of and some things from my wish list. I stumbled upon a couple of Black Opal’s True Color Creme Sticks. I was using these things heavy at one point. I have fallen back in love! They are creamy, easy to apply, blendable and buildable. They are also great for travel which is another part that excited me. I thought now why didn’t I have this in my makeup travel kit? Yep, that won’t be a problem next year for travel.  So it’s since been added back to my regularly used products.

I wear the shade Nutmeg but I’m going to get Truly Topaz as well since I lighten up in the winter. I picked my creme stick up from Wal-Mart for less than $10.

Tips for application:

  • For a lighter coverage swipe stick with your fingertip and apply
  • For a heavier coverage apply the stick directly to your face; which is my prefered method.

Here are some of Black Opal’s claim to fame with this product:

  • It delivers the maximum coverage for perfect, even skin tone (AGREED).
  • It won’t clog pores.
  •  Blends smoothly to give you the flawless face (AGREED).
  • Paraben-Free, Fragrance-Free.

The REAL #BreakTheInternet

If you’ve ever wondered  what real beauty looks like, what elegance at it’s finest looks like, what being true to yourself looks like, then I’d advise you to take notes from Solange! Her wedding is the true representation of what staying true to yourself is about. These photos were floating and buzzing on the Internet all night. I wanted to share these spectacular photos  with you guys because this is what beauty is all about.  These photos are very high fashion magazine worthy without being overdone. Solange I thank you for showing your TRUE self and artistry through your wedding.

Slay Solange, slay!IMG_6784.PNG

Riding the bikes to the ceremony was just a touch of perfection! No foreign whips,… just simply elegant. (Above photo)

I CAN NOT forget to mention the man she married Mr.  Alan Ferguson,  he looked handsome,  polished and made his very own statement (check the shoe game). I dig what these two have done. (Below)IMG_6783.PNG
