Girrl What’s In Your Purse!!

Hey Ladies,

How many times have you asked someone to pass you your purse and they say girrrll what’s in that thing?  How about when you feel like you need to warn them before they pass it to you, lol!  Come on now, I can’t be the only one who carries way too much in my purse and makeup bag!

Take a look…. currently in my purse:

• mountains of receipts
•  my wallet
• my iPhone
•  my iPad
• I have a wristlet
• two different types of hand lotion
• hand sanitizer
•  dental floss
•  nail clipper
• eye drops
• hair ties and clips
• seven flash drives
• a small notepad w/ passwords ( I carry digital and old school)
• a calculator

Now in my makeup bag which lives inside my huge purse…

• body oil,
•  EOS Chap Stick,
•  carmex,
• sparkly lip gloss from Forever 21,
• Palladio tinted lip balm,
• Crème sheen Pillow Talk lipstick from MAC,
•  Mega Plush Volum’ Express mascara by Maybelline,
• L’Oreal Voluminous mascara,
• black, navy and eggplant eyeliners,
•  NYX lip liner in peek-a-boo neutral and prune,
• pencil sharpener,
• mineralized skin finish from MAC
• kabuki brush by Victoria Secret
• Maybelline lip gloss in Iced Chocolate
•  compact mirror

(There is usually way more but I have been in purse transition)

MakeUGlam’s Best Dressed At the Golden Globes

So unless you live under a rock you know the Golden Globes came on and I had to way in with my picks for best dressed! I must admit when I read some of the reviews, I didn’t quite get their picks but that’s just me! So here’s my line up:

“You’re Making Me Blush”

I did a little shopping this past weekend while I was out running errands. I stopped by one of my favorite places; MAC cosmetics makeup counter. I have been saying I am going to switch out my blush as soon as the season changed (I don’t know why I was waiting). Needless to say I decided against the wait, because the time was now! I have been itching for a little pizzazz to my makeup.  I went in search of an orange blush; MAC had several shades but nothing quite as vibrant as I was looking for. So what I decided on doing to get that pop of color to my cheeks that I was looking for was to couple a blush and an eye shadow. I purchased MAC’s “Style” blush and MAC’s matte “red brick” eye shadow. Who said that orange blush is for spring and summer? I am totally satisfied with the results and it gives me that  bit of “pizzazz” that I was in desperate need of. I usually wear MAC’s “Raizin” blush; I was just tired of my blush rut, lol! Moral of my blush story… don’t wait, just go for it and live a little. I must admit my new purchases are making me blush!
